My favorite food from another country is French Canadian food
I was recently in Montreal on a get away, and decided to have some fine dining... I passed on the frog legs, and decided to order the Poutine.
(which, is Beef gravy on French fried potatoes and fresh cheese curds)
Anyway, Them french canadians got it going on

i like orange chicken (chinese) and REAL mexican food (not that cheap fast food wannabe mexican food(well i love that too but its not as good as the real stuff)). one good thing about living in the US is all the different cultures and foods from all over the world.
Probably the Mousakas back in Cyprus when I used to live there.
It is a typical summer meal and can be eaten warm or cold. Mousakas is prepared with potatoes or/and courgettes and aubergines, and covered with a tasteful cream.
Its also good for vegetarians because in some places you can get a vegetarian mousakas aswell.
I recommend trying it.
I like the marinated, microwaved babies that Zero showed me how to prepare and eat properly.

Hmmm... well since they were serving it at a lebanese restaurant im gonna have to go with lamb kabobs as a favorite one-time thing.
But all around...
I did live overseas for a while, in South America (hence the Expat in Expatcat)... but the only thing that comes to mind as being memorable food-wise is the Arepas. Hard to explain them... kinda like a special bread found in South America (and some other places) that when fried is to die for. It's fried in a circular shape, and a small pouch cut in the middle (kinda like a taco) and then you just fill it with cheese, ham, whatever you want. xD. Mainly for breakfast, and for other meals just served as a side-dish.

Almost all Italian foods.....(but not to much please....I was sick of it from Olive Garden [too much eating]....but I'm okay if you asked me now.)

Fish N' Chips from United Kingdom

i've said before that i work at a chinese restrant, and i love almost everything on the menu. but i think aside from that imported Gouda i love so dearly, i dont think i've ever had food not made in my country. because, well, i've never left my country. except for that weekend in Victora BC, that was too much fun to admit to though.
