Anyways.
Q: What are heroes used for?
A: Heroes are used for varieties. High attack heroes increase your troops' attack in battles and if the hero is mayor it decreases troop construction time.
High Politics heroes increases resources per hour, so resources gaining, if the hero is mayor.
High Intelligence heroes decrease research time. That is, if they are mayor.
Myth: High Intelligence heroes increase the chances of a medal in valley/npc attacks.
Truth: No!!! I don't know why this came out but it isn't true.
Fact: Loyalty=% of population in your city out of the population limit. For example, 80% loyalty=80% of the population limit is filled.
So if your population limit is 10000, your population will be 8000.
That is, if your loyalty is 80.
Q: What are the best buildings to have in your cities?
A: Barracks. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT have 1 billion cottages. Barracks are needed, unless you have a war city. That is different.
Q: What is the best tax to gain the most gold per hour?
A: 50%. Let's look... (this is if your population limit is 100.)
20% tax = 80 people = 16 gold per hour.
30% tax = 70 people = 21 gold per hour.
40% tax = 60 people = 24 gold per hour.
50% tax = 50 people = 25 gold per hour!
60% tax = 40 people = 24 gold per hour.
70% tax = 30 people = 21 gold per hour.
Q: What is the best npc to plunder without getting losses?
A: Level 5. Of course, this depends on your hero's attack and your technology.
Q: What is the best resource city to have?
A: Lumber. Lumber sells for about 5 gold / 1 lumber, so you can have lots of gold. Let's check it out...
Food = 3rd. Once your army eats up all the food, you can't do anything, since all your fields are taken up and your only resources are being yummied away.
Lumber = 1st. If you sell all the lumber you get, you can buy food, therefore supporting around 5 times more food then a food city.
Stone = 4th. Stone sells for nothing, and it is almost completely worthless.
Iron = 2nd. Iron is around the same as lumber, but it takes too long to make ironmines.
Therefore, lumber is the best.
Q: What should I use my Michelangelo's script on?
A: On my list:
1. Walls
2. Rally Spot
3. Town Hall
4. Feasting Hall
5. Everything else
Why not level 10 barracks so you can make catapults?
Catapults need level 10 metal casting, which needs a level 10 workshop. So if you want to waste 2 mich's script on that... It's up to you.
Q: What are valleys?
A: Any place on the map without a building. Flats, forests, hills, anything that is not a castle.
Q: What is a good alliance to join?
A: One with a lot of members and one with an experienced host that doesn't fool around.
P.S. If you're on server 100, mail me, (Centy105) and join Chosen. :)
Q: How do I get prestige fast?
A: Do not upgrade your promotions for the quickest prestige, and also don't upgrade your town hall level. I don't know why, but the higher your rank/title and the higher your town hall level, the lower your prestige gain. If you want to waste the time, build cottages and make armies, but you will regret having so many cottages. Archer's Towers give you 1 prestige for each, so that is probably the quickest way.
If I remember any more questions/facts/myths, I will post them here.
