The thing about submitting your DNA at birth is that you are not in a position to refuse or even question having to do so. Surely a newborn child is totally innocent of any wrong doing? At this point in time we only collect DNA and even fingerprints from someone either after they have been arrested by police or if they volunteer to giving samples to aid an investigation.

Is mandatory DNA sampling a step towards a society that controls lives from the cradle to the grave?
