Welp.. did ya miss me??

So this dude from N2 (n00b too) came into OT and he starts dissing someone. Then he starts dissing everyone who comments on his thread. Then some of his buddies come in and start throwing around abuse. So some of OT goes into their forum and diss them. ( I mean, fair is fair, right?)

Well next thing you know they are back when all the mods are tucked up in bed, making multiple spam threads and generally making asses of themselves. Then some stuff got by posted (by them) that was lifetime banworthy and in the end, bans were handed out.

You would think that would be that, but next thing you know they are crying at the powers-that-be how unfair it all is and how poorly treated their buddies were. So someone from OT made some ill considered comments on one of their whine threads that seemed to upset some of them. Then some of the bans were lifted (unbelievable!) and the instigators were back and looking for a fight.

So more raids happened and there were some retalliations. By this time everyone was behaving badly. There were infractions, suspensions and bans as a result. It was all getting a bit out of hand. In the end, FoxyBunny stepped in and went into N2 to soothe some damaged egos and play nursemaid for a while. Stern warnings were made to OT (and all sight see-ers)to stay away from N2 forums.

At the moment things are calm. It may be over, time will tell.

Excellent summary. Almost everything I know about the situation has been learned playing catch-up. Technically, I'm neither of the OT crowd or the N2 crowd (I guess I qualify as a tourist?), but somehow got caught in the crossfire.
