Abatis take the battle to 5000 distance unit from the wall. Traps do this as well. So instead of the attackers starting at the gate, they now have to battle through 5000 distance unit before they reach the walls. I'm sorry for leaving out the unit of measurement as sometimes I read it as being yards, other times I see it in feet. Whether the measurement is in yards, metres, feet, inches, or whatever is irrelevant.

Abatis only affect units on horseback (cavalry and cataphract's). All other units are uneffected by abatis. However you defenitely want to include abatis (500 - 1000) in your wall defense. This gives your archer towers the chance to attack the incoming cavalry while they make their way past the abatis. Otherwise, the cavalry would be able to bumrush your archer towers before they had the opportunity to shoot.

Go to your rally spot.Type in there coords.Designated the type of troops you want to send and the type of resources you want to send then click march.I dont know if you know this or not but ill assume you do.There is a limit to how much your troops can carry,it costs food to send troops, and transports can carry the most resources.

You could to to your map, type in their coords, click their city once you get to it and then click 'transport'. Then you just do the workers and transporters and you select how many resources.
