Go with the most powerful hostile alliance, and then sell them intel.

    And actively participate.

It has happened to me before, and their treachery cost me 8 cities. I know your pain.

I am back to a bunch of attack cities.

alliances are fluid- people get hosed. Just make sure to repay the favor to them by announcing their city coords and also what time they are usually offline on world chat. Let them get a taste of your bitter rootbeer.

But, in the larger picture- you have to realize that alliances should and will cut off some of the fingers in order to save the body. Your situation was frustrating because it sounds like you wasted teleports to go where they wanted you, and now they are running. There is nothing wrong with leaving their alliance and join the "Enemy" or even try to stay neutral in it until the fight is over- hopefully the attacking alliance has some decent leadership and leave you be.

Or you can track their IP, find out where they live- drive to their house and then steal their yard gnomes. That is how Smokey Bear lost his collection and I have new Friends.

    Muah ha ha ha ha.

    Default Mistakes were made

I blew my chance to jump ship!

Yes Scythe, I slept well. You spoke of allegiance to the alliance ... so I did not contact Lord ReMIXX. I am going to have to prove that loyalty is in fact my character. This is my first game and I will stand with Xcalibur for better or worse. You are a worthy adversary and a fine player. I look forward to our continued encounters.

With all due respect to Lord ReMIXX and to you Lord Scyther. You are a knight of honor and I respect the courtesy you have granted me.

    May the games continue

Yes - they farmed me, a neighbor and one or two others right out of BP. My neighbor and I fought back thinking others would join to help. We were so wrong. They said if we didn't move (again - I had already moved away from an enemy) it was too bad. They tried one misorganized attack at my urging. Lost too much of their forces and then said that was it. I asked for some type of plan to make a stand and not have to move again.

Host 2fly4u told me there would be a plan in place soon. A week later there is no plan, no response from the host and no organized effort to counter the paradox attacks. My neighbor and 3 others moved away. Two of them were found within days and the attacks were repeated. I started making big noise in the chat and asking anyone to do - ANYTHING - that would make it seem like we were doing something. Most members were to small except to help restock after attacks. No extra troops were available that could matter. The only ones who could send help were silent - and mostly inactive over the weekend.

When officers did log in the hosts only farmed as best as I can tell. I noticed all of this and I started asking in the chat, Sunday. When an officer finally entered chat I confronted him with questions about counter attacks or a defensive plan. I was told he wouldn't attack any enemy before he was discovered and attacked first. I am positioned just 30 miles from him. My doubts were realized with that statement. The officers will not help unless I move.

Other officers came into chat while I was having this discussion, mostly with myself, and not long after that day I was expelled from Xcalibur. My game neighbor and now RL friend has quit the game. She moved her city, was attacked again and still did not recieve support. I am sad to lose her but I can see why she decided not to play. I want to expose Xcalibur alliance officers for what they proved to be for me.

I say they actively recruited new players, required them to move to Romagna, all the while knowing they would be farmed by the enemies on their hostile list. This strategy gives them plenty of time to farm and build large cities while the noobs who fell for it are driven out of the game in many cases.

Well this is one case that a "noob quitting" isn't going to happen so easily.

I'm looking for a new alliance and I think I have found a good match. Hope you all will enjoy the games.

Make a deal with the enemy alliance, start supplying them with intel from the inside coordinates, last online lists etc. Help them beat the alliance that do not find you worthy to dust. The worst thing that can happen is that your alliance removes you suspecting you of being the spy. By that time you will be more ready to help fight them and hopefully you will have a good relationship with your new alliance.

member - my neighbor, my friend - QUIT THE GAME - No alliance support, same as me. She moved, was found 2 days later and promptly attacked. Still no alliance support - she was very discouraged and quit. She said she could better spend her time, but she would like to keep in touch. (AWW)

My Game-wife was forced to move - then run out of the game becasue the Xcal pig farmers left her to fend for herself against powerful enemies.

Why would I be upset about that happening?
