Metal, depends on wat genre of metal you are listening to... there is speed metal (Dragonforce), viking metal (Amon Amarth), and various other types. Sure death metal may have a darker appearance to it, and may make some people feel down when listening to it, but its just one of the many different genres inside the metal group.
