Default So, dream truce can only be used one time?

The item description is NIGHT AFTER NIGHT you will have a truce agreement, I used it the other day, it went for 10 hours then last night nothing. So this item only works once then?

It is a one-time use item. Many seem to be confused on this point however.

No Its not A 1 Use item, if you have 3 dream truces you can use all 3 not just 1!

Obviously you are having trouble comprehending the phrase "one-time use." If you use 3 dream truces for 3 days of trucing then each dream truce was used once. The point I am trying to make is that each dream truce can be used only once. Some seem to think that a single dream truce can be used multiple times. This is not so.

I'm a new player. I'm still figuring things out which means I kind of have to take more things at face value than experienced players. I haven't been here long enough to decide whether or not to donate, I am still evaluating that. Here's what this thread says to me.

The dream truce is advertised as "night after night" meaning it can or will give truce every night, but it in fact gives a single truce period with a 72 hour cooldown. Misleading advertisement makes it difficult to trust the seller enough to buy what they're trying to sell.

A regular truce agreement gives a single truce with a 12 hour cooldown. Where's the value in the dream truce? It's difficult to buy something that has less apparent value than what already exists.

It'd be nice to have this clarified so I and others like me can decide based on acurate information whether or not to contribute.

    Default Dream Truce

Good point; I dont see the benefit over a truce agreement unless you just happen not to have any truce agreements. The only plus I have seen is that it fits well with people who dont want to wait 12 hours before they can attack.

The dream truce does not have a 72 hour cooldown. That is misinformation. A dream truce can be used once per 24-hour period. If you have multiple dream truces set to activate at a particular time each day then changing the activation time requires a 72 hour wait. The only advantage I can see that a dream has is that it can be applied immediately following a regular truce giving you 22 consecutive hours of truce. The mail Evony sent around was a bit confusing but they did try to clarify it on these forums. See FoxyBunny's post on this item and I'm sure you will no longer be confused. I would not qualify this as false advertising. I just think it was poorly explained in the original mail. In fact FoxyBunny admitted as much and it was she wrote the original mail. Hope this clears some of your confusion up.

for me...dream truce used when sleeping would reveal your sleep times to the enemy, so when you run out of them, they know when to hit you.

I would only use it just after an advanced tele, and I would actually use it durring my waking hours, so no one really knows what time I am really sleeping.

I have yet to use mine. But will come in handy when I pop up on a flat near one of you

Having massive prestige generally means you are a great farmer with lots of troops but doesn't mean they know how to use them.
