If we were going to have the "Female General" of Evony competition I would say that this is very chauvinistic but if you look at the definition of a queen at the time that this game is set in this makes sense.

Frankly I think people are being to hypercritical of this. It's just something to have. If you're a women and don't want to be subjected to being in a position of 'power' which in reality it's just an empty title based on your looks then don't put a picture in. I would say the same thing if the King of Evony was based on the attractiveness of a male. If you're a guy and you don't want to be the king based on your looks alone or think that's wrong just don't apply.

This isn't something like the Evony team saying "The Queen/King will be voted on by players, please include a picture along with your accreditations!" And then everyone just votes for the hottest or best looking person instead of looking at their achievements. This is blatantly having nothing to do with actual skill, if it was there would be room for critique.

Think about it like prom queen/king. Who's going to win or who won at your high school? My guess is that it was either the best looking male/female or the most popular, and that's about how much power the person who have will gain by winning this "Queenship", zero.

Just my thoughts,
