Everyone knows that one. It's a trick, there are lots of solutions but they're all false.
I have another logic puzzle for you all:
There are 100 blue eyed people, 100 brown eyed people and 1 green eyed person on an island. These 201 people don't know their own eye colour and cannot comunicate with each other, except for the green eyed one, who is the guru, and can say only one thing, and this is what he says: "There is somebody with blue eyes". Every night, a ferry comes along and ships all the islanders who know their own eye colour off to the mainland. All of the people on the island are experts in logic, and if there is a solution, they will figure it out. (Therefore any solution is possible, no matter how farfetched). These people cannot approach the sea to look in the water at their reflection, and there are no shiny objects with which they can see themselves.
My question is this: Who is guaranteed to leave the island, and on what day?
