1. Close your gate (can be done in rally spot)
2. Send all your troops except archers,balista,catapult,rams to an alliance member/flat.
3. Set tax rate and production to 0 or minimum positive production rate and Disaster Relief Every 15 minutes.
4. As a last resort, abandon your least city that is being attacked. (Last Resort Only)
5. Get your alliance to reinforce you.

so wheres the part about defending your city? and whats the point of moving any troops if your gates are closed? none of them will die unless you refuge from a lack of food in which case, why not move the archers?

i think that you should do this if you have two cities and your city i goona get took reinforce you other city with all your troops,rescources then leave it once your rescources have been sent.but i think itd be so funny if you wait till the lat second to abandon so they send all these troops and a levle 10 npc appears TO LATE TO RECALL ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh there troops dead

Most atts against other players tend to be able to defeat a lvl 10 npc, except scout bombs and cav spams
