    ok i have asked so many times for age 1 for a new unit that was in the time this game is for anyway they are...


    Spearmen... a close and long range unit..


    but but your unit types you would like to see on the grand opening when ever that will be...


    but as we all no the will not let us have cannons...tanks battleship and fighter planes...

    Instead of more units, I think you should have to select a class/race/leader at the beginning of the game, and each one gets a different powerful/unique unit. Similar to the following:

    Vikings: +100% attack for swordsmen
    Mongols: + 50% archer range
    Greeks: -50% resources use for ballista
    Egyptians: -50% construction time for warriors/workers

    These are some brilliant ideas....unfortunately, I doubt these will come soon...or ever come.

    I think it would be fun if "Masteries" were added. techs that you unlock during battles. And then, once you unlock higher levels of these masteries, you would be able to train more advanced troops.

    For example,
    Bow mastery level 1: Win an attack using 10k archers(adds 5% more archer damage)
    Bow mastery 2: Win an attack using 30k archers (adds 5% more archer damage)
    Bow mastery 3:Win an attack using 90k archers
    4: Win 100 battles with archers making up a portion of your army.

    so on and so forth, and elite units would be something like:

    British Longbowmen(Require archery level 10, bow mastery level 6): Similar to archers, 10% more range.

    Legionnaires(Require IW 10, Sword mastery 6, bow mastery 4): Combination of archers and swordsmen, -50% the range of archers, but once the combat goes to melee, they have the same life and melee fighting ability as swordsmen.

    These are just off the top of my head, but i think military masteries would be fun.

    Well, this thread has been brought up many times and does belong in suggestions for improving Evony. I'm pretty sure Evony has already answered the question to adding new units.

    What about Godzilla?

    Defense: what is pain?
    Range: he can hit a fly with a paperclip 15000 miles away
