Recently I conquered a lvl10 npc. Shortly afterward I received a letter from a neighbor angry at me because I took over "his" NPC. He was not happy when I informed him that I would not be moving the city as I had no teleporters. The next day my host received a message from his host that I kept taking their cities. I responded to the message and stated that I did not take his city, I took a lvl10 npc, a NON-PLAYER CITY, meaning not owned by any player. There was more said but in the interest of keeping this under a page I will stick to the pertinent information. In response he informed me that the more mature players knew there an unwritten rule that it was bad form to attack someone's NPC. What I would like to know is just how many players believe in this unwritten rule? Are there any other "unwritten" rules I should know about? Like it's bad form to attack someone on the anniversary of Elvis' death or something? (Sorry, I couldn't contain the sarcasm any longer, lol)
