Default FREE Private alliance forum, chatrooms, and more

For alliances who need a private portal to communicate and plan take a look at www.evolliance.com.

Evolliance provides alliances with tools to help you manage your alliance easier. It is especially helpful for those alliance that have sister alliances or for a coalition of friendly alliances to collaborate.

If you have ever used Evolliance please share your thoughts on your experience, we'd love to hear it!

    Features include:

Forums: Alliances get a forum that is fully customizable. Admins (usually hosts) can setup different forum sections, forum topics, and customize who can see/who can post in each section.

Chatrooms: Each portal comes with a members chatroom for regular users in the alliance to chat and an officers (you can set who can see it, doesn't have to be officer+) chatroom for higher ups to plan. This is beneficial if your alliance has sister alliances as you can all chat in the same chatroom.

You can also create custom chat rooms on the fly and share them with other alliances that have an Evolliance portal on the same server as you. Perfect for discussing diplomacy or allowing members in different alliances to chat with each other.

Interactive Map: Members of your portal can post coordinate information into your portal's coordinate database which then graphs the coordinates in the map. Launch the map and see where everything is in relation to each other. You can also filter the coordinates so that you can only see what you want to see, for example you can choose to view only your alliance coordinates and enemy coordinates to plan who should hit which targets.

Announcements: Admins in your portal can post important announcements for users to see when they login. For example if your alliance is going to war soon you can tell your alliance to get ready and be online at 5PM game time or something.

Mail System: Send private messages to individuals, groups, or the entire alliance. No speakers needed and the messages never expire!

Polls: Take votes on important alliance issues by setting up a poll. You can also set who can vote in the poll.

Scouting Reports: Share intel with members in your alliance by saving scouting report links in your alliance's report database. This helps when you are at war to prevent multiple members from having to scout the same guy.

Game Tools: Currently we have a food calculator that allows you to calculate how much food a given city needs and how long it will run out. Good for planning for your own cities or if you are trying to starve an enemy out. We are currently working on adding new tools to the site.

Diplomacy: Set who is an ally and who is an enemy in the "Manage diplomacy" page. Best of all you can choose to set these relations as public so that other alliances can go to your alliance's public profile and see who you are allied and at war with. No more having to guess who is friends with whom or keeping track manually!

User Groups: Group members into different groups and set different site permission for each group.

For example you could create a "vice host" role that has certain admin privileges, officers chat, full access to the map, and read/write/moderate access to the leaders section in the forum.

You could then create and set the "members" role with members chat permission only, restricted map access, and ability to read/write in the members section of the forum but read-only access to the "rules" section.

Inter-Alliance Collaboration: If you have a coalition of friendly alliances you can also setup a portal on Evolliance to communicate and plan with one another via the forums/chatrooms.

Evo isn't too shabby. I like it, but I feel like it only helps (as far as mapping) later on in an established server.

I've used it but its really hard to update alot of things. Plus, nobody in the alliances I'm in ever goes on it so its not too effective. Thats the only problem with forums and stuff like this... nobody participates...

used it, but no one is ever on. its like a game that you give to some one, its a great thing to do for a while, but the novelty of it wears off. its good whilst it lasts though

Most evony players have never heard of vent. So I assume most evony players don't play PC online games, such as wow, css, or any other online multiplayer game.

So, Vent is a program, like Skype. Allows each member of the alliance to chat vocally rather then type in Alliance chat.

You can also private chat, privately talk to others and publicly at the same time.

It removes and language border in which simple typing can not. Some players can speak english, but have trouble typing it out. Vent (as long as you have a mic) is a wonderful thing. Allows members to communicate, helps with attacks and just plain ole good fun.

You learn more about eachother when you can hear eachothers voices.

Vent is a VOIP program, And I would recommend it to every alliance or person that takes this game to a serious level and strives to be dominant and in a top alliance.
