The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies ever. I even had an Alaskan Malamute named Nanook

Also, love American Werewolf in London, the special effects were the best considering the time period. The Howling is also up there on my list.

I'm a big fan of horror movies and there are so many good ones, but there are also so many different TYPES of horror movies. I do NOT like the slasher/gore horror movies that are only about showing as much blood and guts as they possibly can. I didn't like Saw's 1-1000 and don't get into those Rob Zombie flick's. I want to be scared, not grossed out.

Sooo my favorite horror movies, not necessarily in this order are....

The Shining - think this is the Best Horror film ever
The Exorcist
Jaws
The Lost Boys
Alien and Aliens
American Werewolf in London
The Howling
Hellraiser and Hellbound
Phantasm
The Mist
Silence of the Lambs
Seven
Evil Dead series
Re-animator and From Beyond
The Thing
Carrie

and the other day I saw this kooky horror movie from the 80s that I forgot about called April Fool's Day.
ahh yes the evil dead films and the hellraiser films are pretty damn cool.i also think that bruce campbell is one hell of a great actor.
