Thread: Outta here!

    Default Outta here!

Well, this was a fun experiment. A potentially good game with one exception that until fixed, I believe will be the undoing of this concept. And that is the plundering of smaller players.
It seems that the larger players attack smaller cities as soon as the 'protection' is lifted. No one can build up enough defenses in the given time to withstand the inevitable attacks.
When I found this game, I thought that the idea was to rout and destroy the barbarians but apparently I was wrong. The game seems to be the farming of fellow players to the exclusion of the NPC cities. Is it possible that this game could be saved by making the looting of NPC's more profitable than the plundering of 'newbies'?
Until then, IMO, this game will lose members exponentially in the near future. ]No amount of real or imagined 'coin' will be enough to stave off predation by the wolves.
So, thanks for the entertainment. It was a lot of fun for about ten days.

Why do so many people feel the need to display the fact that they are leaving. If you are not enjoying the game and feel that you have to leave then so be it.

Perhaps rather than be so rash, you could have asked for help or advice about what to do. Many people would probably have told you that the way forward is to join a decent alliance, and spend some time upgrading your resources, warehouses etc, to be able to withstand attacks better.

I never had any problems with attacks after my protection expired, as I had used those 7 days to build up a strong production base and to find a helpful and reliable alliance. I can only suggest that new players reading this and worrying about what happens when their protection expires will do the same.

Yeah, an alliance. Here is the message I got from my allinace; "Sorry to hear you have been attacked. As soon as we are bigger we'll kick his @&&." Thanks heaps.
Nah, that's okay. I had a lot of fun but the only way to solve this IMO is to make it more profitable and maybe easier to take over NPC's. Maybe an alliance of players to tackle the larger NPC's but until then.....it's not worth the frustration. I cannot build up large enough, quick enough to stop it. Where's the fun in that?

    I understand your point....

Switch alliance and go with the one that attacked you?

I'm out of here as well.

It was fun while it lasted.

It's not becasue of problems with the game -- it's meatspace issues.

    See ya.

    These topics are really non-constructive.
