The only thing you can do is have the vice host or another officer boot all of the members and then start another alliance. That person will have to take the prestige hit for quitting an alliance as the only person who can appoint a new host is the present host.

Have someone with very little prest promoted to the top so he takes the prest hit. Then its not an issue.

The last person in an alliance does not take a prestige hit when quitting the alliance.
But....the eternal ray of sunshine REALLY wanted to see you, so I helped brighten your day by removing the city from around you! ^.^

then there is the account sitting issue. the rules state that account sitting is ok as long as certain rules are followed. fine, but i personally need to have in place a contingency account sitter, or no sitter for anyone. as i have said on that locked thread i have medical problems, and will not have time to make arrangements for account sitting with the advance notice requirement if i need to go to the ER, and they admit me for any length of time. what i need is the ability to say to someone that i trust "here is my account info, if i ever don't show as having logged in in any given 24 to 48 hour period please look after my account till i can return to running it myself" think how you would feel if something beyond your control was to cause you the loss of many hours of effort.

please look into both the above matters, and let me know if you find any answers.

    Very good point.
I cannot even log into my brothers account because I might get accused of another issue. Not sure if my friends do, but to prevent that, i pasted a post note not to log on to a specific account, but i doubt they listen.
Even if they log into their account, then another issue will pop up, it is my ip address.

I can't speak up for my friend who also plays in my house periodically or when i am asleep, or when he is done playing my console games. However, I can speak for my brother who has been in Iraq, He asked me to keep his troops alive, or to make sure he does't lost a city untill he return. I failed to do so, because I have been more focus on my own Cities on 2 server.
The good news is, he will not be returning to Evony after I told him my situation. My friend in the other hand is indicisive

Dawnseeker, you are exactly the type of representative that I was hoping to "lure" in, lol. In all the posts I have read, you have consistently been the only rep that spoke with true concern for what most players were saying. Two of the others I have seen simply copy and paste responses into replies, and one other is so full of themselves, that they have complete and utter disregard for every valid point made by other players. This is the one I refer to when I say "handled". I'm sure the posts have long since been deleted, but I have seen truly valid arguments and criticism from the players be tossed to the wayside with minimal to no valid response.

I also learned, through all my reading in the last few days, that, and I hate to use this word, most of the threads and posts here are handled in a very immature way, and I mean this towards the players. People need to realize that you really do catch more flies with honey, and just making a new rant thread about being suspended isn't going to get you anywhere at all.

To the credit of the players, though, this was abrupt and uncalled for, and it certainly should have been handled with a little more finesse. I'm sure we all understand the frustrations of our players. I have seen very dignified and well written posts about valid points and arguments be replied to by a particular representative in a very derogatory and snide way, and the next thing I know, the thread is gone. This is not what I'm hoping here.

Again, Dawnseeker, I know at the time and with the given circumstances it is a lot to take in, but please continue on as you have been, and please keep a record of any and all feasible solutions to any problems that are arising and bring them to the teams attention. I know Age II is coming, and I will play it like many others will, but I still have a "family" in Evony as we know it now, and I would still like it to operate professionally in the future, I have no intention of leaving my account I have now just for the sake of playing Age II.

Are you kidding me? He's one of the worst. Look how many threads he's closed in the last hour that do not break any forum rules. Look at the lack of effort he puts into his responses:

notice how he closes every thread he responds to so that you cannot respond to what he says without starting a new thread.

TheArtist makes a lot of sense, but alas nothing will come of it

There is nothing actually wrong with multiple accounts as far as game play goes. Top alliances watch war reports and know when one of theirs is under attack and can reinforce quickly, or send attack waves at whoever is attacking.

As for the resources argument, again top alliances send resources to each other. Players get to a point where their cities have enough troops and they are simply making archers etc to replace those lost farming lvl10's.

The downside to multiple accounts, is whats happening on one of my servers, where some of the TOP RANKED players have started a second account. All they do is send 1 scout and 1 trans or similar attacks, but have them camped for 100's of hours so your bird flashes non stop. Being the 2nd account only has 1 city and virtually nothing worth taking, you cant do anything about it.

Spying, well what does that achieve ? we have had spies in our alliance for months.. hard to prove who it is. Doesnt matter if they find the coords of your cities, theres already a group on the server noting every city location, and quite willingly give out the info to whoever wants it. So if you have a grudge against playerX they will tell you where his cities are, or find them.

Lots of players get the 2nd account due to an alliance member quitting the game. They are given his/her login details and then spend time distributing what he had amongst the other members, or run it themselves. Very time consuming the 2nd option. One of the most sought after things from leaving members is heros with high attack ratings.

Evony claims to own your account, and if you leave then its theirs, but what do they do with it.. nothing, because they cant work out if you left. And if you spent $ then you can never lose your last city, even if you become inactive forever.

I dont care if playerX has 2,3 4 accounts, no one can run all at the same time if they are all being attacked. You would need to have no life to be able to do it and make them all good.
I should know, i'm banned for baby sitting a mates account, both in different alliances, i couldnt do justice to 2 so i was in the process of dropping him down to 2 cities that could just tick along without any assistance until he sorted RL issues and could return.

Thanks to Evony's non responsiveness to emails, now i will just let refuge get them to the right level, and have members of his alliance notify me if they are under attack, so i can assist.

The end result is i get 3 days of my life back, and as my protest to Evony's uncaring attitude, wont spend another $ on the game. You are told if babysitting anothers account of if a family are playing, "let us know" yet when you do you get NOTHING, no reply, zilch...... but banned down the track and treated like a criminal.

Now thats customer service from a different era, not the 21st century.

This is the MAIN abuse IMHO on evony servers is the collection of accounts, as people bore with the game and quit, their accounts do not, the die-hards in each alliance end up collecting the accounts of many of their members. Its much easier to just take an account from a quitter than to automate the building of a second account or to build one manually, Since most cheaters are lazy, this is the most prevalent type of cheating in evony to date.
