Does Skype do chat or just VoIP? I don't use it so I don't know.

I have no idea what a Voip is, so I'm going to go with no. It does chats and calls, which is talking to others.

Skype is both chat and VOIP

My skype handle acer-sama btw

@Sigilstone: I thought VOIP was Voice Over Internet Protocol

Joe, VOIP is basically talking over the internet instead of a landline or a cell phone. Skype is a VOIP program as well as an IM program.
