An analogy would be catching your child jumping up and down on the bed after you told him not to and then giving him a piece of candy and telling him not to do it again. Then the next time you catch him you give him another piece of candy and then the 3rd time you catch him you amputate his legs.

What an excellent description of today's real-life childrearing practices.

More on-topic, that presupposes that every person who underwent those three-day suspensions enjoyed them. I know several people who (no, they weren't banned) would have been pacing holes into the floor waiting to get back on.

Feel free to substitute spanking with candy for those that didn't enjoy the 3 days off.

Try this one on. You are at work in your cubicle. Spend all day your first day looking at hard core gay ****. Your boss catches you. What happens next?
Boss says take 3 paid days off and put all your meals on our company card?

I did hint that players who cheated and thought they were off with a 3 day holiday would be in for a rude awakening. If people chose to continue cheating after repeated warnings across the forums and a 3-day suspension, then I have a hard time accepting blame for that.
I did not cheat at all after the 3 day and yet i was banned. and again i spent 30 bucks! Nice huh?

I have accentuated the important parts of the mail above.

Seems pretty straight forward.... but the problem is that many players were permanently banned AFTER their suspension ended, and did not commit any "additional inappropriate actions".

In addition, as Quoted by FoxyBunny on 2/28 (after the suspension sweep):

While I am sure there were many players that did not heed the warnings after the latest suspension on 2/25, I can also assure you that many did stop using "3rd party software" and had their accounts closed.

This is why these people are upset, and surely being a reasonable human being.....right, wrong or indifferent, you can understand why.
This also presupposes that everyone received this email, Evony does not ensure that email addresses are accurate before allowing the individual to sign up. An In Game email would have assured that they actually got that warning as well.

Really? All I can say is I was not in any form cheating - I was minding my own business, happily sending out my little farmers, setting some more scouts to build, checking food - about an hour later when I tried to log in - username denied - hell had I been cheating I WOULDN'T be so annoyed! Ok yes I did it fairly quickly - 9 cities in about 30/35 min - you want to know how come - HOURS of practice.

Also spent a few minutes wondering how I was going to move the extra troops in a couple of my cities - when you guys still haven't fixed the food bug I've been experiencing or replied to my PM.

So what I want to know is why was I picked up?

Our policy on this issue is not up for debate. Accounts which were banned will not be unbanned.
