Ok, here's a step by step guide to building troops....if u r farming npcs u may want to q your troops first, so that your highest attack hero will b available to appoint to Mayor, before u send them out;-)

When we build troops we say we are "q"ueueing troops up because we are not only setting it to build troops immediately, we are also creating a line of jobs which are waiting, or a "queue" that will process when the current building job is done. Troops can b built in a barracks up to the level of the barracks so in a lv9 barracks u can set 9 groups up to build, the current job plus 8/8 that u can q up for building later.

This is done for each city:

1. Appoint Highest attack hero to Mayor
2. Set production to zero on all resources
3. B4 u close that window, also do Comfort, Population Increase

Now....u need 2 b farming npcs at least once a day, this will allow u to feed a decent army.
If u don't have any lv9 barracks yet u need 2 make upgrading barracks to lv9 a priority.

The amount of troops available to queue is limited by the amount of resources u have, and the idle population u hav available.

Always leave yourself a little leeway with avail resources when u q up troops, don't q everything, in case u need 2 upgrade something, and you definitely don't want 2 use up all your food!


OK...we have set our highest att hero as mayor this will shorten our q time as much as possible.

And we also set production to zero, and did a population raising comfort, this will ensure that u have max amount of idle pop 2 q up;-)

Now we r ready 2 actually q up troops.. If u hav lv9 barracks your first priority is 2 get balista and transporters qued up so u can farm npcs w/out losses. Once u r farming u will have res and food 2 use for troops.

If u hav lv9 barracks, first q up balista and transporters@ 10 ea per barrack, alternating between transporters and balista. So if u hav 1 lv 9 barrack, and u hav 9/9 slots avail, (In other words the barrack has nothing qued up....that would b the first slot, plus 8/8 u can q up also).. u would q up 10 balis, then 10 trans, 10 balis, 10 trans, 10 balis etc. until u hav filled up the slots. If u have 2 lv9 barracks u would q up 20 at a time and check the box to split the queue to all barracks, if u have 3 lv9 barr then q 30 at a time and check the box to split the queue to all barracks , etc.

By quing up balista, trans,balista, trans until your lv9 barracks r full you keep these barracks from making other troops because they r already set 2 build balis/trans.

Once u hav filled up lv9 barracks with balis/trans u can then use the other barracks to build archers, then pikes and swords after u get enough archers built.

When u q up troops u always want to take the total number avail to q,and divide it by open slots in barracks... so if your barracks said 8/9 available and u had 16000 archers avail that you wanted to q up, then u would q 2000 at a time x 8 = 16000, and check the box to split the queue to all barracks. This ensures that u will get the archers as they r built, rather than getting them all at once.... a couple days later.

If your walls r not full w ats yet, save some resources so u can q up ats also!

Once u hav your troops qued up, u want to b SURE and change production bac 2 100 on everything.

Idle pop will go neg, and eventually recover on it's own.... after u reset prod so don't worry about that.

Also u need 2 go ahead and set mayor bac to highest politics hero.

(Do a comfort, population raising if it's been 15 mins since the last time... u can continue to do this every 15 mins in each city if u hav enough food to spare until u get bac to max population for the amount of cottages u hav).



Once you hav done all that u can go ahead and send your balis and trans out to farm if u hav some to send... and that's that .....u hav qued up troops... if u hav enough resources and idle pop u may b able 2 q up troops for a 24 hr period and then do it again each day until u get what u need... this was just a basic, simple guide to quing up troops.
