    Instead of making all these forums posts you guys should be directing your messages and anger there.

    Dont do anything mean though , you know ... like signing these guys up for email lists or anything. You wouldnt want to make it difficult for them to help anyone with real problems out.

    Be cool , be polite , press your point. If they dont respond ... well ... def dont use their addy to register on personals sites or anything. That would be totally childish.

    Really it never occurred to me to send a mail there - wonder why?

    Maybe its because the last one was never answered. No wait I just checked my sent mail box looks like I did indeed send another mail to escalation.

    I must have been in an optimistic mood.

    Sorry mate but I have written a number of messages to various evony emails and the only response I have ever had was from the ***.

    Even emails to escalation trying to escalate an issue after 5 days results in another *** response.

    We aren't allowed to use **** but they are. And it enhances their game play! it is an unfair advantage! they should be banned! Perma banned! lol

    I have sent emails to evony all over the place about a particularly nasty player who sends whispers about rape and torture. I know it is just words, but it is really offensive stuff. So far, he is still out there doing it, and it has been well over a week now. They haven't even replied with an automatic reply. I sometimes get the impression that Evony is run by a bunch of moody 18 year olds. They are good on the technical stuff, but customer service is compeltely non-existent. Even when people complain on the forums, they just say, put it together in a professional manner, without bad language or too much emotion. We are not here in a professional capacity, otherwise Evony would be paying me. When you offer a "free game" and people spend money on it, they expect a level of service.

    If you spend $200 on a dvd player and you get home and it doesn't work, then you are going to be angry about it. If you complain and the shop assistant stands there not saying anything, then you are going to get more angry. Say this goes on for an hour, where you have not had any sort of help or acknowledgement, and finally someone else comes out and says "act professional and put it in writing". Evony - do you see how this would make someone feel.

    Now imagine this scenario.


    1000 people buy something from a store. 50 of them have a valid issue with what they bought. another 400 want to file a complaint about the lights being too bright. 40 want to vent. 100 found a lower price somewhere else and want a refund. The rest are there for a completely unrelated issue.

    All of them are shouting at him at the same time expecting to be helped RIGHT THEN or else, and expecting complete professionalism.

    That's what you all are doing to Evony right now, and you wonder why you aren't getting anywhere fast. You're part of the problem.

    If you have paid attention to any of the closed threads that you say have "slick remarks" in, you will notice plenty of announcements that mods have nothing to do with the game. Mods are here to keep the forum running smoothly, stop rioting, and keep the forums clean. Mods are just volunteers, so what is for them to debate? The fact that you have no clue what you are talking about? They aren't free to point that out to people because mods no matter how they are treated are to be respectful, unlike you.

    Exactly, thank you for pointing that out. Just the other day there was someone saying they sent 50 emails to escalation@evony.com, it was a player that got banned for botting and admitted to using a b.0.t but wanted to know the reason for his banning.

    Okay first of all. I am pretty upset my account was banned. Second of all I am only showing them the same respect they have showed me. Third, I did not say to flood them. I meant to keep emailing them if they do not respond in time.

    you just contradicted yourself, you say to keep emailing them if they do not respond in time. For some people that is less than 5 minutes, for others they are willing to wait a month for a response. When I was a mod there are people that if you did not respond to them the instant they sent you a PM they already have 3 more on their way.

    I do agree anyone with questions about being banned or suspended should email escelation@evony.com, I do not agree they should keep doing so until they get an answer. Because that is effectively flooding them.
