I would like to see geographical boundaries such as impassable mountains and oceans added... It's not that hard to have to calculate travel times or distance using variable paths... This could make the game more realistic by having real borders, and could open the door for engineer units that could alter valley types.
Great idea... you could have mountains make travel time much longer... for example... which could give rise to "strongholds".... where an area with several allied cities in it is surrounded with mountains so reinforcing time between those cities is small... but to attack them would take ages to cross the mountains.
Ye... the map has no geographical meaning as such. It's just a diagram of where various people's cities are and NPCs and valleys... there's little more meaning to it or purpose other than judging distances.
I'm sorry, that's not physically possible. First, we have to make vague mention of AgeIII. Then we need at least 6 months of "When is AgeIII coming? Hurry up already!" followed by us confirming AgeIII by opening beta. Then we need a couple months of "This sucks! Who the heck said we wanted AgeIII? We want to keep Age2!"
After this, we can do the same for AgeIV....so I figure it's at least a 9 month rotation for each age.
Someone at last likes and recognises one of my absolutely outstanding ideas, lol well perhaps not that amazing but its still a nice thought.
Everyone has worked hard on this and as everyone knows, you never work on a city as hard as your first one, so it would be nice to at least keep the first city we made, if not the accounts.
