Im assuming when you say can be upgraded you mean that if you have them various bars may be applied to the sword to improve it. If im right a suggestion would be to tell how many bars you need for a succesful upgrade

Oh, you just need 1 bar of what you wanna upgrade. All swords start out as either Copper or Tin. You can then buy a bronze upgrade, then an iron, then a steel, ect.
You cannot skip bars.
Also, go do Devis if you want to upgrade. He's the smith here. All I do is sell crap and make up the rules. Lol.
