The first city I scouted and attacked from ss2 had 900mil lumber and 900mil iron with 70k archers defending. Unfortunately, I "supposedly" woke him up while I was trying to cap the city (after that, he started sharing his info, so all I really did to him was make him port or abandon cities). Anyway, if I or any other one of my alliance mates (MDK) knew about the exploit, I would've had over a million transports just like all these other alliances that came from s29 and I'd be able to plunder.
Come to think about it, if MDK knew about the exploit, that alliance would still be alive and unbanned (much like most of those who avoided the banning sweep), because it eliminates any need to farm.
The worst part is MDK was warring with the WotFs, and I'd say it was fairly well matched even without MDK having billions of resources, yet only one alliance got hit hard by the bannings, leaving a major imbalance in the server. Now, all the "honest" players must defend their huge stockpiling of troops with billions of resources that will last a while. I understand Evony wants to create a more fair environment, but all they really did was throw fairness out the window with this one.
Though it's good to see the market prices normalizing and returning back to s28 prices, instead of the overlyboosted s29 prices.
Also, it has been proven that many of those WotFs that survived the banning sweep have used and are using third party software to run their game (aka scripts). So, you can say that MDK may have been the ones "cheating", but you can't say that WotF or many other players are exactly "honest".
After this being said though, I have never believed that those who exploit a glitch should be banned, rather the glitch should be fixed. However, with the fact that the alliance fighting the alliances with these infinite resources were killed off by evony themselves, leaves me to believe that these exploiters should be banned as well; that would be the only fair action by evony staff now that all the fairness that was once there is gone.
