    I think many others would join me in saying they are very reluctant to accuse people of abusing the system .... I know I have been accused of it to a laughable extent by people of varying experience (usually newer people). I never even heard of this exploit until the servers merged and we started finding these cities with unbelievable amounts of resources and started questioning "how?"

    That being said, I have been on evony a very long time. I can add, subtract, and multiply. There is a certain point where the upkeep is impossible to maintain without something very strange going on. I know all the tricks .. I know all the strategies ... but it still doesn't add up.

    I saw the botters come and go .. but I could still beat them, or at least embarrass them ... this is a unique situation. We do not know how to do anything but cower and defend against a handful or people who are basically Gods right now. And it is just a handful .... if all their alliance mates had millions of transports one could maybe argue that over several months, perhaps they supplied the upper handful .... but scouting the remainder of the liiance shows they are fairly inactive, and do not have the capability to supply those kinds of resources.

    It is a very frustrating situation.

    I can safely assume that most player must have prepared alot of resources just for the much anticipated merger where noone really knows what might happen.

    Than again, aything probably had happen.

    Let us keep in mind that there were some players who closed their account who then gave away their massive resources, plus also farm those closed account or known botters that were closed account. Keep in mind that some may be legit, but others may not.

    what a load of tosh, i`ve seen scout reports of cities with billions in resources and no visible means of aquiring said resources legally, i think it time all the honest players left and see what good all their resources are with no-one left to attack.lol

    Default Garbage

    It is garbage, the game is getting out of hand and impossible to keep up with 926million honor. I watched a guy lose 4million troops in one day and the next day launch another 6million and still launching. I am not talking just scout bombs. Arch rains, bombs, ballista attacks, 100k pult attacks, 100kphract, 100k cav. This is just comical. Then we crack a report on his city and he has billions of food, billions of lumber, billions iron, gold etc. Sigh.

    And their "suicide" transport attacks usually have 50ktranny and 50k ballista.

    Has anyone forgotten the structure I mention before? where every player help send resource to 1 or 2 main players?

    Let's take that strategy even further, now lets take brother and sister alliance and even friendly alliance donating to 1 main alliance, how is that sounds?

    Plus ofcourse the doubling exploit which even further increase that resources.

    Here is what i mean, if every player provide 1 members a total of 300 billion food and resources accross the board and then he doubles it, what do you think happen. He can then use what he needs ad keep doubling the left over.

    Doubling exploit has its limit it is when an insanely massive amount of resources that is being doubled,now that is insanely lopsided

    As also pointed out, that would require an alliance of doormats, and I have honestly never seen an alliance made up entirely of doormats. Ever.


    To be honest, those players were either farming cheaters or were cheating.
    But....the eternal ray of sunshine REALLY wanted to see you, so I helped brighten your day by removing the city from around you! ^.^

    Let us say an Alliance with 30 members 20 of which are very active members. I will just take the 20 figure and assume that there is 2 to 3 players in there that knows exactly what he is doing or a heavy hitter.

    Let us take a City's average production if properly set up.
    A properly set-up city with the proper valley to boost should produce very close to 1 million resource per hour depending on mayor's Politic level and the resources fields level. In 1 day you are looking at very close to 24 million per City in selected resources. Half of these 23,000,000 can be given away while the rest can be re-invested to upgrade other Cities, resources field or structure. That is not even counting the resources from farming npcs and from plundering Valleys.

    These players are not necessarily door matt, consider that the defense require much less effert with the exception of few players i won't mention names.
    All these players requires is a defensive unit enough to hold their base untill reinforcement can strenghten their base, or vice versa with other players.
    Also consider that negative -2 million is very sustainable with just farming npc 10, now with the surplus can just be sent away while still have more than enough to sustain one self. The surplus can also be sent to help further improve other players behind in their resource production.

    Also, should one player be attack, then the main players can temporarily garrison his troops there while continuing to increase his troops.
    This is another strategy in it self, to temporary house or park thier troops in someone elses base until, needed.

    Let me get back to that structure I am talking about before I get side track with the explannation.

    Let us assume that 1 city can provide 10 million resources in 1 day, most players will have 2 or more, multiply that lets say 10 out of the 20 and you have a considerable amount in 1 day. Now to take this structure even further, lets say 3 sub or sister/brother alliance, plus maybe a taxation for smaller alliance what do you have?

    You won't get 300 billion in 1 day, but in a few days you can amass a massive enough resources.

    Here is the kicker that some readers might have omitted, if you consider that expliot that players been talking about the "doubling resources" you add that to this strcuture than you have an insane amount of resources, provided the player has enough transport for it to work.

    Also let us not forget that high level Heros come to play with this strategy.




    Keep in mind this approach may not work properly in some servers due to the players layout, however, in newer servers where you have option or first pick of valleys and flats.

    Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct one. Stop trying to weasel "maybe they did this" instead when it isn't just a single player in a single alliance. It's multiple players across multiple alliances.

    Jumping into conclusion is never a good idea, always eliminate other potential before making onces conclusion.

    I know it is possible, I know it was done before, and it can be done and improved.

    ... while we have all seen this on a limited scale, to do such a thing on this scale is unlikely. An alliance with the kind of coordination and cooperation to operate on that scale for the months it would take to generate the amount of resources we are seeing would mean that this super-Alliance would have no need for such tactics ... because one that sophisticated would dominate, anyway.

    In my experience over many months of playing this game is that an alliance that sophisticated and selfless is much less believable than yet another unfortunate evony exploit.
