6 minutes is rather slow. I don't know what these mods are up to that it takes them so long some times.

Months ago there was a notorious ban evader who used proxy IP's to ban evade and make new hate threads about the mods. He was so prolific one night, that the mods were just watching for him. He probably went through more than a dozen alt accounts. Most of them got banned in a few minutes, I'll bet that a few even got banned in under a minute.

Ban-evading is not as hard to detect as one might think.

You might be surprised how fast we can get them sometimes. Other times, something will slip past the radar and survive for days. That's pretty rare though.

Dawnseeker did it in less than a 2 minute (i think).
The reason for the very quick response were due to private info that were presented.
I read a post once and probably the only one who manage to read it and boom it was gone.

On Rota's post, yeah actually we've done that on several occasions. Even going as far as giving it a name. There were other less notable ones who tried the same method, it's always fun so you future ban evaders aren't bothering the mods when you make new accounts, you're just giving them a fun game to play.

Next, 6 minutes is rather slow even for what you implied in your second post. Usually rule-breaking threads would be gone in a minute or less in most of the high traffic forums. Which would be just about any main forum save for server and screenshot forums. Those two forums are usually where that slipped rule breaking post falls in what Foxy stated. Either the regs don't care enough to report it or don't see it as rule-breaking.

If you folks come to O-T sometimes, you'll see me play around with a Spambot for quite a while before deleting.
