I personally have found myself go a bit timid with violence since I started playing games. at a young age I was a violent kid. Then when games came along (PC, sega then Xbox) I found myself inside most of the time trying to best that problem, or trying to get pass that part. Im still the person who can beat up some one but I find that it was more rewarding to do it on a game. To me Games are just problems that need to be solved and are a great place to let out frustration. They also show you how gruesome life can be and can stray you away from a path of violence.
Of course this is my personal view on games. I do think that games are something that can be educational, both morally and educationally.
Many games put you in a position of Authority. They also put you into a hero side or character (not all games but most). They have you saving the princess or jazz like that. in many peoples eyes these gaming characters become idols, people of moral standing that they wish to be like. I believe that these are the qualities that would truly be put into the children's minds. also the younger (not smaller :P) kids aren't going to play Modern Warfare, with there minds still developing they would be trying to get the game to work. But if schools support these, There is a way higher chance of kids believing it is right...Especially smaller kids.
