I've started to do this too.

For no archer valleys (cavs etc) I just dont send archers at all. Its like the pikemen see the cav in the middle of the field (fastest 2 troops) and make a deal to see who can kill the other teams archers first. Of course, the cav kills the archers, and the pikes get killed by archers.

Archers always seem to attack archers first (npc's not player archers). This screws up the works a tad. Its just best to burn the warriors.

I've pulled 3 honor and 1 wisdom from forests this week. Just been sending out 1-5 attacks a day... not really "farming" just casual play.. hrm.. its only tuesday too

Add a justice to that list... just checked reports after I posted this... and a rose... LOL I was really hoping for honor but hey... 3 back to back medals on the same wave attacks? I can't complain!

OK so I had been using the original medal guide [http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?t=91602] with pretty good luck. But I saw your link and wanted to see what changes you recommended. One thing you recommended made an immediate difference for me and increased my drop rates a bunch. Add some sacrificial warriors into the mix. Doing this like you said upped my drop rate quite a bit. Thanks for your help...

i have followed you guide completely, and even followed the one you posted about troop count. but yet i still cant seem too find a medal, in the past 4 - 5 days i have found 1 medal. i also send out 20 - 30 waves a day, i also send them every 6 hours each day. and i still don't get a medal. is there something i am missing?

I would assume so...

Is your feasting hall full of hero's? I rarely get medals when there's slot available.

Are you attacking lvl 10s? The drop count on lower level valleys is much lower than on 9s and 10s... even if you were attacking level 7s and 8s you should have like 15-20 medals right now..

Are you taking losses? Sending in sacrifical warriors?

Basically... are you doin steps 1-5 and are you on a server #'d 90+ ?

yes my feasting hall is full of heros.

im attackin lvl 8, 9, and 10 valleys.

yes im takin the losses, mainly 200, but i tried for 2 days of 250 and still nothin.

Something is definitely amidst here... I thought the new combined servers followed the same rules?

If your aren't getting _anything_ then everything is absolutely wrong on that server compared to my server?? You should be getting medals just by random chance... period the end!

I'll see if I can dig up a guide for the Ss Servers. I don't have a town on one, but I did make one on 127 to test strats with to make sure all of my technique's were correct.

EDIT: Ok I did some research and there's wide spread complaints about medal drops being really bad on the SS series servers... BUT... the guide I linked for tactics in this post has been linked on other SS servers as working.... that being said... these tactics should work for you.

The only thing I've left out is making sure hero's were / are at 100 loyalty because I'm not sure if thats a factor or not.

Other than that ... I have no idea what to tell you except everything is 100% wrong as far as tactics go on that server... I have been able to go out and get zero medals for weeks... thats how I developed this guide... I did everything wrong, then slowly pieced together what was the right things to do.

For giggles, I'd start fresh one day by slamming 50k warriors into any level 10 valleys you can find. That will cover your bases on prestige gained, troop count, hero level,... well everything. Then I would send "waves" at them for the next couple of minutes of 10k warriors...until the valley refreshes some troops.... then send waves based on the refreshed troop count.

Don't re-scout. The valley will get stuck with zero troops. If you get a medal on waves, then they really did switch it up on those servers. This shouldn't work...

If you get a medal on a wave... wait 5-10 minutes after hitting a lvl 10 then scout it. This should break the valley... after that you should be able to send waves at it and it will never get above say... 1100 warriors till you cap it... what ever the troop count was when you scouted.

Had a bit of a cold streak for a couple of days, but just got a courage from a grassland.

Still no rose. I have been targeting all the lvl 10 lakes and flats, i can find that aren't already occupied by another player. I do about 5-10 attacks a day. It's like the game knows what I need and is teasing me.
