Well prepare for another wall of text.
Well all that happens is that Ardenian goes to what turns out to be a VERY reputable mage that forges swords, and then gets his "stick reforged into a true sword."
After that, he becomes friends with the mage (who is in fact a Swordsmaster [a guy who knows all about weapons]) who apparently used to teach Advanced Fencing to the teachers at the Academy. He left for unexplained reasons a very long time ago.
During that, it's sorta-kinda a time-skip, because I mega-fast-foward everything right in the middle.
Therefore, he makes it in an awkward yet graceful way into his second class.
