nrfitchett4... you weren't punished a first time. You had a free holiday. A gift. Something here people pay for. You now have finally been punished when banned a second time because they actually took something away from you.

A large part of the community would like to see people permabanned when someone has botted/cheated.

We aren't talking about children who might not know better, the difference between right and wrong, or not knowing it was wrong... you knew it was against the rules, knew it was immoral, wrong, bad, etc... and you cheated. You still have some of the benefits of that cheating. The only way I would even consider empathizing with an admitted cheat after he was punished a second time (or in actuality a first time) after a period of actually finally obeying the rules of the game, is if instead of you losing half troops, forts, etc., they actually zeroed your account... as in, 0 heroes, 0 prestige, 1 starter city.

Sure everyone deserves a second chance... but everyone also deserves the punishment to fit the crime.
