"I'm not crazy, OK? I'm totally, completely sane.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go blow up this dead body."
Agent Washington, Red vs Blue
Well, that's the very heart of one of the most ancient scientific arguments, ever.
Nature Vs. Nurture
Are we creatures of instinct?
Are we a product of what we have learned as we grow and develop?
The answer is a bit of both, of course. But, which side has more influence?
Personally, I lean toward the nurture side of the argument. Most experiments lead to that conclusion. But, there are valid arguments and experiments on the other side of the aisle.
We have over ten thousand years of evolutionary psychology telling us that life is an aggressive struggle for survival. On the surface technology may appear to have made our lives much more simple, relaxed, and civilized but that is just an illusion. It is only our envoirnment that has changed. We are still very territorial; whether we struggle over food, shelter, or resources in a primative envoirnment, or fight with siblings over toys or who gets to sit in the front seat during a road trip the psychology is very much the same.
Our aggressive tendancies do not always even have to be violent. Corporations wage war on paper, in legal battles, or over customers. Politics can be the same. People are just as cut-throat and ruthless even if no actual blood is shed. Also whether it involves fitting in at school or finding your place in the office everyone must go through the social pecking order to determine where one ranks in life.
At our core we are, and always will be, a violent and aggressive species. The only thing that has changed during our evolution is the syntax for how those tendancies are applied in our every day lives.
Killing people never solves anything but it keeps them out of your hair while you think of an alternative.
if there are videos that kids destroying their keyboards well thats not good for sure
games based on dying-surviving is worse then games I used to play when I was a kid, which were based on winning-losing

Not every parent can be their kid's best friend. You actually need to "teach" them and provide limits. Raising children is NOT easy, but it actually IS possible to limit the games/movies/TV/etc... that children are exposed to. Some parents may have to sacrifice that cable TV subscription if they don't feel they can't keep the kid away from programs they don't want being watched.![]()
