Thanks but obviously any attempt to make a salient point has sailed over the lofty heads herein.

Truce has a 12hr cool down so plenty of time to attack in the 12 hour cooldown. Plus they don't have that much time to rebuild, even using buffs on walls. sure they have time to move stuff and get their alliance together for reins.

Then Dream truce, 10 hours, so a 14 hour period in between, fine cool. Still love the big smack talking lame azz players who attack right before dream truce. It's funny, kinda like starting something one knows they can't finish and then runs to mommy.

But the ability to pull a regular truce during the time dream truce is inactive is my point. And no I haven't ever encountered this before cause I don't play attack the n00bs. I adv port next to the so called heavy hitters of other alliances.

As far as price idk, and idc I have 34 truces and 11 dream truces and will never use a single one.

    So please go on.

On my server, we have a group of people who have been doing this for at least 2 months, if not close to 3 months. They poke out of their shells every once in a while with attacks on people, then go back into their shell and start the smack talking on World Chat, knowing that it is next-to-impossible to take their cities within a 2-hour window, considering the walkdown from 15 loyalty. At best if you were to get the city to 12, it still takes 72 out of 120 minutes. Then there's the whole time being taken to try to get the loyalty down to 12. Then there's the fact that since they know when their 2-hour window is, they can have alliance members on the ready to reinforce, etc, etc, etc...

Evony is raking in a ton of money for this kind of behavior, so it is unlikely it will stop, but I really don't think what these people are doing are in "the spirit of the game", especially given the smack talking and that they also endorse / sponsor people sending 1 ballista + 1 transporter attacks from max range from someone who has only 1 city, not to mention multiple accounts to get resources from, etc, etc, etc...

In some cases, it might be a legit strategy, and in those cases you and I would agree. The kind of behavior I'm seeing from the people using it on my server seems to be rather juvenile.

Except in siege warfare you can still launch attacks, never have i heard of the besieged having magical powers to keep themselves invincible for 22 hours of the day.

HAHahaaa yeah. I'm sure all the cities and fortresses sacked by the Romans, or any other army would have been all for a 1 sided truce, where no tax or tribute is paid. I bet the defenders of Masada were trucing daily after the Romans built the ramp to the mesa.

I understand it's a game and some things are necessary to keep it tricked-up and a little interesting. Geeze tho it's to the point of ridiculousness.

And I'm even more stupid for paying all the $$ to play this game, but o well. How sad it's so set up that it's near impossible to sack a city with a player online, where one could have more of a tactical battle of attrition instead of the figure out when they're offline through scouting or stealing valleys etc. to have half a chance at some victory. Yet I just bought a bunch of Easter chests so it's not the game it's me.

I hated the truce/dream truce tactic the first time is was used on me, but then i learned to work around it. Ashanta sums it up perfectly, sometimes you just need patience and believe me you are ruining the game play of your enemy by putting them in such a siege.

Wait until you get besieged by truce/dream trucers. It was hilarious. 2 dozen ported to take out an alliance member. They spend 22 hours in truce per day choosing to attack for 2 hours a day. 24 on 1 and the 1 never truced. All 24 truced/dream truced. Eventually, after 4 days of 4 alliances being punked by a 4 member alliance we drove them all away. Then the hunting of them begun and still continues.....Muwahahahahaha
