dont want to quote all your replies Ashanta but this is to you.
players shouldnt be able to join a old server and expect to get to the same posistion as someone that has been playing for months, if you want a level playing field join a new server.

true. i'd be rather upset if some n00b usurped me cuz the game was programmed to let them. that's not fair to people who have spent months and months (and money) on their account making it awesome. i don't care if a game's fair to n00bs or not. i got farmed by the second highest ranked player on my server within an hour of coming out of BP; it was the Only time anyone plundered me because I'm smart. i've done well and spent none of my own money on it. the game's Very fair if you learn how to play it.
as for taking a lvl 10 NPC, i'm kind of jewy (maybe cuz i'm jewy), so i've never had any desire to kill off that many of my own dudes on something that's not another player. i prefer adv. porting in next to someone Important to the alliance and just WASTING their guys on defense when they all come knockin', softening them up, and then going in with my alliance to decimate. but that's getting really hard to do with the NPC problem, too; unless they clear the gajillion inactives or merge the server, i might actually have to take the NPC jump city option.
merging the evony way is totally sucky...
instead of putting you closer together, they put you into much much *less* dense place
baffles me
but regardless, no way, never another server merge![]()
Upkeep is the balancing factor. Veteran players with high heroes can rebuild armies very quickly, but at the end of the day the upkeep keeps all highly active players fairly equal. No one who is playing fairly is going to have a 200M upkeep army. And someone with a middle level hero can get the same size army in time.
