first find a level 1 npc then get 3000 warriors. next get a hero level 14 politics 41 attack 69 and 47 intellegence

That method will not work for any of the newer servers (55+) or the super servers because npcs rarely (if ever) drop medals on them. On these newer servers lion medals can be found in almost every valley type but are most commonly found in grasslands. For other medal types this spreadsheet might help:

Personally, I found success by sending 50k warriors to all level 10 flats in my vicinity but everyone gets different results with every method.
