    Greetings! We have corrected the following bugs and wanted to update our players on the status of these fixes. We're also continuing to hunt down and remove any bugs as we find them.


    Fixed April 11

    Player Accounts


    • Fixed: Players who were stuck with a "Lord(number)" username may change their lord name for free.


    Fixed April 10

    World
    • Improved: Players who click the "Play with Friend" button in Facebook can create a character within 9 grids of their friend. This is to help facilitate the establishment of alliances.

    Fixed April 9

    World
    • Fixed: Resolved an error that sometimes caused population to decline to 0, even if the loyalty and tax rate do not warrant it.
    • Temporarily, cities will no longer riot. Riots will be re-enabled when we're positive that the population decline problem is completely resolved.
    • Added: "Privacy Policy" button in game, by clicking it players can go to the Privacy Policy page directly.
    • Fixed: Players are no longer able to colonize allies or friendly alliance's colonies.
    • Fixed: Some players were getting the prompt "Package not exists" when they tried to claim their packages from April 8th to 9th. This has been resolved and packages may now be claimed.
    • Fixed: Resolved an error that prevented some players from receiving Easter packages sent by friends.

    Client
    • Fixed: A scroll bar in the shop was blocked by an image. This has been corrected.
    • Fixed: Level 2 city hall upgrade is smoother.
    • Feed icon for random events has been updated.

    Fixed April 8

    World
    • Fixed: A problem prevented some players from claiming packages when they paid through Facebook. All players who paid may claim the package now, including those who couldn't before.
    • Modified the cooldown time for upgrade equipment technology in workshop to the correct value.


    Fixed April 7
    • Improved: Age II items will now drop from battles against NPCs.
    • Improved: Age II items have been added to the Wheel of Fortune.
    • Improved: Medal drop rate has been increased to 3 times the previous rate.
    • Fixed: There was a glitch that allowed a small number of players to be colonized while under Beginner's Protection. This has been corrected.
    • Fixed: A very small number of accounts were being automatically reset/deleted by the system. This has been corrected.
    • Fixed: Free Daily Amulet popup was being covered by another popup. This has been corrected.

    Fixed April 6
    • Fixed: Facebook gift exploit has been corrected. Limits have been added to gifts and huge army and resources gains have been removed.
    • Fixed: A bug that caused a very small number of players' loyalty and resources to be reset to zero has been corrected.

    Fixed April 5
    • Improved: Gift accept page on Facebook has been streamlined and made more user-friendly.
    • Fixed: Facebook account link no longer causes login errors. New homepage has been implemented, allowing players to choose how to login: www.evony.com

    Fixed April 4
    • Improved: Server performance has been upgraded.
    • Fixed: Removed quest share popups so that they do not become bothersome, meanwhile added "Complete and Share" button for those who still want to post quest complete feed stories.

    Items being worked on:
    • Latency issues on World NA1. We have stopped promoting this server while we improve its performance. We have also added more new Age II servers to spread the load to other servers and we're continuing to improve this server.


    In summary, the game is more stable, we're making it easier to get items by raising the drop rate and adding new items to NPC drops and the wheel. We've substantially raised the drop rate of medals. We hope these changes help improve your Age II experience.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

    The bug I'm experiencing wasn't fixed! What gives?

    We're still in the process of correcting some problems that players are experiencing. If you haven't made a thread in the bug report forum, please do so. Our team is working around the clock to find and eliminate these bugs and your help and feedback is invaluable in our efforts! We're working on it!

    Why weren't all the bugs fixed in beta?

    While we corrected the major bugs that we were aware of in the Age II Beta, release environments are never quite the same, and as new features are added, new bugs can be introduced. We are working to rapidly identify and fix these bugs as they appear. As Age II progresses, bugs will become less frequent and we'll be able to get them corrected faster.

    Are you abandoning Age I?

    No way! We're going to continue to support Age I just as before. Because almost all of the bugs in Age I have been ironed out over time, Age I needs very little in the way of fixes. This is good because Age I has very smooth gameplay and our development team can focus on Age II!
