So two members of the same household are not allowed to play on the same server?
If that's correct - half the players on my server would be banned.
I have 5 husband and wife teams in my alliance.
i wish i could remember the link, look around for it, you can have 2 accounts, you and your family member on the same server.. i have already spoken with evony in reguards to this and their reply was as long as you do not share resources with eachother, do not attack the same person, do not reinforce eachother, then it was allowed... my advice is to look for that threat and read it carefully
Again... My point is! this is not an enforceable rule.. It is a rule that is thrown out there to try and dissuade people from exploiting the game. But there is NO WAY they can enforce this rule unless they have a camera on your computer to see who is on.. If there are 2 accounts coming from the same IP they can not possibly tell if it is this same person. the only way they can is if they are in the same alliance and enforce that part of it. The only way this can be stopped is if they included in the TOS that ONLY one account per IP is permitted. NOW with that said SPY accounts are always going to happen and always will happen and there is absolutely nothing that anyone can do about it. so why not utilize that?
We are not discussing husband and wife teams. We are discussing the creation of multiple accounts by the SAME person for the purposes of spying on another alliance.
Evony has a set procedure for husband/wife or family teams.
They also have a set procedure for people who create multiple accounts.
As for the use of in-game spies themselves...Spies have been universally loathed since the first one was revealed. If your in-game tactics and strategy is so poor that you feel you must use spies to gain some kind of advantage...Then there is little that can be said to stop you from using them. You will always find some reason to justify the use of spies and no amount of reasonable discussion will persuade you otherwise.
