    Default Act

Well, I'm taking the ACT tomorrow. Any of you have any suggestions?

To be honest, I only took the SAT, but I have a couple of suggestions for you:

First, if you cannot answer a question, move on.

Second, read and write, don't rush...

I am sure others will have tips for you as well...

I think ACT is multiple choice so I have a 25% of getting a question right, right?

Also, those are pretty good suggestions. I plan on skipping quite a few questions...

Yes like Jurnis said If you don't know something move on, lots of people underestimate the time. Just because its a long test doesn't mean you have enough time, each section has a time limit and you cant go back after you finish the section. Also, yea SAT is multiple choice as well LOL

    I don't know why
Keep making me laugh, Let's go get high
The road is long, we carry on
Try to have fun in the meantime

Yes, I took the SAT, and missed out on a world of questions because I was obsessed with answering one stubborn one.

I was lucky to get a good score on it in spite...

Also, read your questions very carefully. I cannot tell you how many times I have lost points over a stupid answer before.

It has been a long time since I took it but if I recall correctly you get penalized for wrong answers so you are better off skipping questions you don't know rather then trying to guess.

So, is it more of common sense or what you have been taught in school? I have completely no idea how these tests are done.

Okay I just looked it up, and no you are not penalized for wrong answers, so your best bet is to answer every question. Answer the easy questions first and skip over the hard ones, and then if you have time left over go back over the hard ones and either try to work them out or guess. If you google it you can find out more info about the test, instructions on taking it, as well as some tips.
