*is completely confused*
The only exams I know of are IGCSE's, AS, A and A2-levels, and that's it.
What are these SAT and ACT things?
I can verify Mormy's post.
You don't get penalized for wrong answers, which is why you can safely skip the question if you don't know the answer.
The SAT scores points this way: -1/4 point for wrong questions, 1 point for right questions, and 0 points for unanswered questions.
I believe it works the same way for the ACT.
*whistles some random tune*
hehe...sorry about that...
That's true but it's better to guess and hope that you get it right. There's also lots of little tips that help.
Like in the reading section, There's i think 4 story things. If you know that you're not gonna get a 36 don't shoot for it, go for the best you can. It's better to try and read 3 of the stories in the time limit than all 4. That way you won't feel rushed and will be more accurate.
Math, don't worry about the trig part, which is sin, cos, and things like that. If you don't know it you can still do fine. In all there may be 4 questions over that. So if you don't know it don't spend too much time on it, just guess.
Science, really you don't have to know any science, it's more can you read graphs.
Can't really remember English. Must have been easy for me.
That's all i can think of at the moment, good luck!
I've created a big purple mess... And I'll do it again too.
