I just (last night) finished the Hunger Games Trilogy. Very well done, very "Battle Royale"

    Compliments of the wonderful Warsimi!

So many good choices here, didn't know this thread existed.
Like many,I read a few at a time and they are:

When the Body Says No, Exploring the Stress-Disease Connection by Gabor Mate
A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin (i blame HBO for getting me into these books)
Politics by Aristotle (this one is really slow going lol, and i forget which translated version it is i got)

'Heaven's Net Is Wide' by Lian Hearn, a beautifully written prequel which has me hooked. Now I will definately read the other books in the series 'Tales of the Otori'.

I highly reccommend reading if you are interested in fuedal Japan.

These are so brilliant! I've been reading them since middle school and I still love them even now that I'm out of college. Her books are like lit crack, once you've read one of her quartets, you'll be hooked and have to keep reading more. Go for the Protector of the Small series next.

I liked the Lioness Quartet as well.

I just read "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton. Rather interesting, even now.

I may be re-reading "Raising Hell In The Nightside" by Simon R. Green. Got hooked on the Nightside series by a friend, and I get some wonderful laughs out of it.

Never even knew this thread existed but now I know, and have a lengthy list of books to read thanks guys! Not reading anything presently (tempted to crack out my poetry anthology just so I can change that; yup, kinda desperate lol). However, some good ones I've read in the past are:

My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult (NOTE: if you read this do NOT watch the movie; they ruin the ending D= but that aside, she's written a lot of good books as well. The Pact I think was another of hers.. can't really remember all her titles atm but yeah she's good)

Chronicles of Narnia series - C.S Lewis

Anne of Green Gables - L.M. Montgomery (classic Canadian literature ftw )

Lord of the Flies - William Golding (yup that was for school, but still good imho)

The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold

    Charlotte's Web - E.B White

The Five People You Meet In Heaven - Mitch Albom (also, Tuesdays With Morrie)

The Notebook - Nicholas Spark (I think. In any case I've read a fair few of the author's books, I like)

The Long Walk - Stephen King (only Stephen King I've ever read, not really into that genre, but good. -Think was Stephen King... if not correct me without shooting )

Think that's all the ones that you've not mentioned yet. Unless you've not mentioned The Hobbit..

This stunning signature brought to you by: ChukNorris. Thanks Chuk! ^_^

LOL! Yeah, I've got a long reading list to catch up with from this thread, too.

Decided to read back through Nora Robert's In The Garden Trilogy.
