recently finished "Mastiff" by Tamora Pierce - her newest book that had come out on Oct. 25 -- now I'm reading Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

The only books I've read by Garth nix are those involved in the "Old Kingdom Chronicles," and I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Would you say this book/author is worth reading?

    Since my last post:

Stopped reading The Dragon's of Autumn Twilight by Weiss and Hickman. I've seen this trope before by some guy named Tolkein and he did it better.

Read The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss and loved them both.

Started and stopped reading The Red Wolf Conspiracy by Robert V.S. Re****. Boring.

Read The Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch. Amazing books.

Just starting The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie.

I loved Sabriel and Lirael - and got through Abhorsen - but over all I like Garth Nix as an author...
