The Elusive Rose Medal

Hiya,

Thought I would share this with those of you trying to gain rose medals.

It was almost a whole year since I won a rose medal on any evony game/server, but after trying this method, I have won 8 in three days.
4 in one day and 3 just now, within half an hour.

You will need:

At least lvl 3 rally spot,
3 heros with at least 60 attack or above.
5-10k warrios to account for the gradual loss.
ANY lvl 4 valley. (NOT NPC).

Simply send 1k warriors per attack, sending each attack within 10-15 seconds of each other.

When you capture the valley, abandon it quickly before the next attack hits.

This method as I said above has yeilded 8 rose medals, 2 cross, 3 lion and the occasional mikey script for good measure, in the last 36 hours.

This has only been tested on server NA4 (AGE II). Not sure if it works on other servers, if anyone can test, please post results here.

NOTE: This method still requires perserverence.

Age II has a higher medal drop rate to Age I if i have heard correctly .

Thank you very much! I would like to add a question, do you need to capture it or can you just plunder it with your valleys maxed. Also (I am a vet returning) do valleys include flats? Thank you again.

No tried doing this, to bypass the server lag preventing me from abandoning a valley before the next attack hits. For some reason, doing it with your valleys already maxed seems to prevent the valley from regenerating some troops immediately.

I would guess because you aren't taking control of the valley from the server and then returning it.

You need to be able to capture/abandon between each attack hitting. Allow 15 seconds to allow for possible lag.

Yes it does include flats, but I have noticed it is not quite as effective on flats.

Well I ahve been able to collect up on medals and other supplies through attacking solely but I have never gotten a mikey script or anything from taking a valley. Must you take the valley, not just attack it?

As I said, I tried it with valley slots full so they just attack, and the results are considorably different.

Also, in my quest to now collect honor medals, have developed the following method:

Any lvl 1 or 2 NPC.

Lvl 1 = 250 Workers 500 Warriors.
Lvl 2 = 500 Workers 1000 Warriors.

I won 4 honor medals in a row using this method. You can do this once per NPC per hour, as NPC's regenerate troops in an hour. It is only their resources that take 8 hours to regen.

Also, this method depends greatly on an MS & MT lvl of at least 6 with a decent hero, lvl 80 or above to be safe.

always abandon ur valleys when conquering them
so that the refresh rate doesnt have to happen at all
once abandoned the valley turns back into what it was when u first attacked it with full of soldiers
but u get rose medals thru hills an lakes if u really wanna get them
use 2 cities if u have them an 300 archers and 200 warriors warriors will lose some but not all an no losses with archers
only lvls 1-5 five might get u losses with some archers but minimal
