What am I doing wrong? (login question)
When I go to www.evony.com, I see a very basic screen. The background is white. At the top left it says this:
Submit Query Please log in to play
Connecting...
Facebook user ?
Sign in with Facebook Connect
These are just words, not links. Then there is a spot to put in my username and password. Under that, there are four buttons: my account, help center, forum, and save evony on desktop. When I put my login information in, and click play, an error screen comes up. It says:
405 Not Allowed
nginx/0.7.61
What am I doing wrong? I can only access my own server through its unique URL, but I wanted to check out Age2. Anyone?

Same problem
When I try to log into age II I get a basic screen and when I enter my info into the user name and password and hit play I get a
405 not allowed
I have cleared my cache, my cookies and everything I can think of and now it has been almost a month since i have been able to log into my age II city.

What browser and OS are you guys using? It sounds like you're running a very old version of flash or some weird unsupported browser or operating system.

try http://www.evony.com/index.html
it might not make sense right now, but it's worth a try.
You could always clear your cache, update your flash player if all else fails.
BTW, evony sucks in Opera browser in XP.

I started playing yesterday all fine but I tried to log on last night and again this morning and I can't. I've been in touch with support and done everything they asked but nothing.
I've cleared cache and cookies.
I've tried it on google chrome, firefox and explorer.
i've just installed adobe flashplayer10
i get on the website and it loads along the bottom but then it gets stuck just before its finished loading. when i click the play button a box saying connecting comes up and 20 minutes later its still doing nothing.
please can someone help me as i am desperate to get back on.
thanks

Thoughts
HTTP error 405 has something to do with the HTTP POST command not working / not supported... From what I've researched, this is likely a problem on the web server(s) and not a customer-fixable issue...
As for the getting stuck at loading:
Possibility 1) Yet another network peering / routing problem to the download server(s) if the percentage never increases (diagnosed by doing tracert / traceroute).
Possibility 2) A very frustrating and very intermittent problem with sending files above a certain size across a circuit. I've only seen it happen on ATM / Frame Relay, but I suppose it could happen on other types of circuits. What happens are files below a certain size will be able to be passed along the circuit, but larger files will stall / not be sent. Normal troubleshooting of pinging and looking at the ethernet interface won't show any abnormalities. You can only find this by having the LEC do a test on the circuit. The fix for this is replacing the circuit.
