Also, if you're on an older pc with a low amount of RAM (these days, 2 gigs is the bare minimum for decent processing speed), that would explain your slow loading time on a page with a lot of Flash graphics.

If you have enough RAM and a decent processor (3-4 gigs RAM and at least a 1.8g or better processor, preferably dual-core), then it could also be your internet connection. If you're using a wireless network, there may be too much interference, and if you are wired into cable or DSL, it may be that your lines are old and need updating.

There are many things that can mess with the time it takes to load a page, and not all of them are the fault of the website.
My computer is about 5-6 years old... which is pretty old for a computer so maybe that's the problem.
