    Default Age II Market

    Is it just me or does it seem like the market in E2 is WAY off? server NA7
    I have yet to be able to juggle the pop rate and keep it from sinking because selling iron is crap in E2 compared to one.. so it means no disaster relief or praying.

    Srsly I have heard of fluctuating markets but wtf?

    Early in a new server the prices are incredibly unstable. Give it a few weeks.

    Market price in Na1 is very good. What your server now?

    Cant understand why market prices would be good. At the seriously nerfed troop building speeds and increased level of politics with armor, you would never use more wood or iron in a day on troop building per city than u can produce with 40 level 9 mills. Food should be the new top resource in age 2 although the relevance is food has also been reduced by 50-70% with less upkeep costs.

    at first time when server begin stone would be the highest price coz player are building city, then wood and iron coz after player stable they start recruiting army, after they got big army they start needing food thats time food price will going up although won't be as high as wood and iron but the gap won't be like on the first time server opening

    Age 2 works different. You will never be able to build an archer quicker than 60 seconds. Assume you have 18 barracks in your city and you build archers non stop for 24 hours. It would cost you 7776000 food, 9072000 wood and 7776000 iron.

    A lumber city with 40 level 9 mills, a 350 politician and 10 level 10 forests will spit out 30 million lumber. Thats 30 million resource produced and 24 million used. This creates a glut of resource. In time wood and iron could theoretically drop to below 1 as many people would produce far more than they are ever able to use. Food will rise over time as armies become larger and could be as much as 10 times the price of iron and wood.

    This 60 second build time is based off a hero with 450 attack as well. In reality many will probably be on a 70-80 sec build time, create a further resource glut.

    And thats not including colonies if you had 10 colonies with about that production you would be doubling you resource production

    Yeh... im on Age2 and I have over 1 million of each resource.. i'm actually waiting until prices go up so i can sell them.

    I've seen lumber and iron actually go down to 0.1 at times, then back up to 0.5 (max ive seen it)
