Cleaning up the Neighborhood

Are you sick of looking at those annoying inactives in your area?!?!
Those inactives are taking up valuable space, covering a flat that could be an npc! So you need to clean up the trash.

Just because they only have 1 city doesnt mean u can't get rid of them. All you have to do is pound them with your army. Bring their loyalty to 0. Since they are inactive they wont be on to tend to their city so everything will go to 0 and eventually the city will vanish. Just like your going to take a city, send wave after wave at it. Then leave it alone for about five days and the city will vanish leaving you a nice gleaming flat to build a nice gleaming NPC!!!

You don't have to look at those annoying little inactive pests forever when you can put a black flag in their place, the black gold of evony.

Not true if the inactive player has EVER paid evony any money. His town will just sit there forever as an eyesore and there is nothing you can do about it.

I have a city by me which has been there for 11 months, it's 001 and has been for 11 months...

It's not gone yet, here is hoping.

i didnt spend any money on this game and quit for almost 6 months--
came back and city was still there, 0 loyalty and pages of rioting

so i dunno what gets rid of inactives
i think prestige has something to do with it--higher prestige=longer lasting at 0 loyalty

Sometimes it is just random. And as far as paying money to Evony, someone in my alliance told me it's all about how many coins you have left in your account, even if you are a paying player. Apparently if there are no coins left, then the account can be wiped. This is still speculation though.

I was wondering about this. There's a Level 10 derelict city right next to me that's been a thorn in my side for the longest time. I'm just now getting strong enough to think about attacking the barbarians again, as I unwisely tried an assault at Level 3 or something and promptly got my army's head handed to me on a platter. So, keep hammering at them and hope they disappear? That's not very concrete...wish there was a way to at least batter the walls down so they don't look so impressive in the map view.

Also check to see if the player has any valleys still in possession. You might have to take them first.

I took away some valleys from an inactive after i already lowered him to 0. I'll see if that has anything to do with it.

Players are wiped according to prestige. If pres is under 1k then i thinks a week and if its under a certain amount after a month its wiped also. Im not sure what the exact figures but thats how they determine whether they are wiped or not.

And if a player has ever spent money on the game, the cities are never wiped from the map, ever, I remember reading that back in the summer when the game had just begun.

Evony probably does that incase the player ever comes back on again and happens to spend more money into the game
