    WHAT THE HELL!!!

    Seriously. I'll probably be banned for this, but I CAN NOT LOG IN.

    I've tried your help support and I get crappy instructions to do what I've been doing for a few days. YES a few days are important. You have absolutely no way to get support on a game in which YOU make lots of money off of.

    Seriously. I need help. This is getting ridiculous.

    I've sent the email to the admin email address DawnSeeker posted.

    I NEED ACCESS to MY ACCOUNT.

    HELP!

    What did they tell you to do, and what is the error you are getting?


    So, getting a response from tech support is considered getting no support? Most players would be ecstatic to get a response, but you haven't posted anything that would warrant getting banned.

    Default Possible known reasons

    Here are the four most common error messages or problems you will encounter when trying to log on

    Server maintenance (most obvious, but not the most likely if it's been a while)

    Network connection error (problem on Evony's side, but you can console yourself with the fact that nobody else on your server can log on so you're not getting plundered

    Invalid Acct/Password
    (problem on Evony's side, keep refreshing and hopefully it will clear itself up soon)

    Brown/Cream colored screen but no image (
    delete your cookies and history and clear your cache)

    System denies accesss (You have been suspended or banned)

    Well, if you get a response that asks you for the same information you already put in the original support request, then yes, it's about the same. The only thing it shows is that they either have very poor reading comprehension, or didn't bother to read the message at all.

    Just about the only comfort to be taken from that kind of response is knowing that someone, somewhere, had your request in front of them long enough to send out the standard response without bothering to read anything. That is better than having submitted a ticket on the 14th, updated it on the 15th, 16th, and 19th - and STILL having no updates or responses from Evony. That's how the "new" system seems to be working.

    Yes, I'm annoyed. Being able to "track" my support request doesn't do a damn thing if there is no progress to track.

    Sorry for the emotional outburst. I just want to play. It's very frustrating.

    I'm getting the incorrect account or password response.

    I can log in on any other server just fine.

    It appears facebook may have hosed my server 5 account somehow.

    Try deleting the download1.evony.com from the flash settings using that site, unless that's what tech support said to do. Most of the time when I was getting that error, that usually fixed the problem.

    This is what I got from support:

    Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contactiong Evony Customer Service.

    For Age I players, linking your Evony account with your facebook account will not affect your Age I characters. You can still log in from www.evony.com. Please click the Play Button, and to login just use your normal email and password. You can click "Login with another account" if you don't want to link with Facebook.

    Evony Support.

    Do you login using the www.evony.com page or directly to the server? Age I you don't have to use the www.evony.com page, and simply use the server URL.
