    Default Nerfs BEFORE Fixes

    Thats right folks, they did it again.

    As you all know they have left some seriously ridiculous problems still unfixed in the game weeks after "beta". The most notorious of which causes people to completely lose their armies, and/or heroes, and/or the resources they are carrying whenever one of their numerous and unpredictable server crashes occurs.

    Instead of spending every bit of their valueable time FOCUSING and DEALING with this problem which has been around since SERVER ONE was launched, take a guess what they are doing now?

    In the past they showed that apparently unplanned advantages (like medals) that benefit a player FAR outweighs the catastrophic losses of vanishing armies and resources during THEIR server crashes. They'd rather nerf item drop rates, go look for a queen, talk about Age 2 when Age 1 still have these crippling problems that send people leaving their game in disgust. And now, they are going to nerf ballistas attacks against NPC villages. Apparently, that advantage is also more important to fix than people losing armies and heroes daily.

    But guess what? Whenever they over correct something, like totally screwing up the medal drops, it would take days, if not WEEKS to get things addressed.

    So their modus operandi seems to be that unplanned things that benefits the players will get high priorities. Unplanned disadvantages like over-nerfed medals can go days or weeks without them communicating a thing about it. And serious technical problems like lost troops, routine server crashes and lag are prioritized behind all that.

    Wonderful, aren't they?

    Where is the original thread about the ballistae nerfing? Would like to pass that info on to my alliance ASAP.

    Yah its interesting that when we figure out how to defeat things or get things, always seems like it has to be a bug. Maybe from now on, we all should just shut are traps about some of these things, as it is starting to make the game unpredictable at every turn.

    why u think ballista nerfs... i see nothing about this? ballista still work for me?

    There have been reported issues of entire armies of ballistae dying when attacking level 7-8 cities on Server 1.

    And some players feel the need to report such exploits as they believe it ruins the fun and competitiveness of the game.

    I'm not one of them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    It felt more like months to me

    I don't understand why they need to fix the Ballista/NPC spam.
    It only started because they decided to put medals their after the medal fix so it's technically their fault in the first place..

    Why should people attack NPCs to get medals and lose troops? It's only natural for people to work out a way of playing the game better. That's all it is. Playing the game.

    They seem to be fixing things and then fixing what they fixed!

    All I want fixing is the lag. That's it. Everything else in the game could do with tweaks and I suppose they will eventually get round to it but the lag! Priorities.

    Yah i dont get it either...look at it like this...you roll in 50k soldiers lose 5k or so and you gain prestige and exp. for your hero....on the other hand you roll in mass ballista, take no losses, what you get is a flawless victory, but you don't get prestige. Looks to me like it takes care of itself.
    Anyways, there are just way too many things that don't make much since in this game as of yet.

    You make a very good point!

    This is a great game but I can't help but notice that when things are said in the forums, things are done to the game. Obviously they are listening to what we have to say. Which I suppose is a good thing really.

    I have not noticed any battle mechanics changed as of yet. I'm on server 5. Hope we get a warning if they do change something.
