Let me explain to save you time.
This means, once they got their troops, they will eventually farm npcs and hunt MEDALS, ofcourse when i said medals i did not say from npcs, but if you look at aboves quotes, The sentence before, there is a word valleys there followed by an "and" and then an "npc".
Player of your calibur should have picked that up very easily, without fail.

Where is that assumption materialized from?

Are you soo threaten by this?

Is taking high level valleys really take that much effort for your calibur? seriously?
Do you really call that work?
Now taking npc 10 is more of a work, and yes we also gave npc 10 away to those who needed them, or even city that were captured.
It is a strategy, a strategy that brings most if not the entire alliance's member to an independent status, out of the dependent as soon as possible.

Ofcourse you don't want to give everything to them free, just a few to give them an idea what it does for them, so they can formulate their own resourcefeld strategy.

Educating newer players is always a challenge, some just need explanation of battle mechanic and what benefits an individual structure provides, while some players need help from the ground up which can take considerable time, given the speed of the game.
