Sorry to say that you are dead.

We use the same strategy. Unless you have helpers nearby and starting to give that guy tons of honor, there's no way for you to win.

They will hit small waves until you are tired of it, tele. away or until you are out of meats, and then they would throw a big wave at you, killing all troops and while incurring 0 loss.

You can start doing the same thing to him. Whoever able to give the other person a lot more honor will win over time

Attack & lose = winning

Defense & win = losing

I know it sounds weird but follow this strategy and you will win the game.

So I can build up a bit of an army and spring the gates open to catch one or two attacks here and there. I'm looking for what will give ME the lowest losses from doing that, so once I build the army it's cheapish to rebuild the losses.

I experimented some with like 6k swords / 4k archers. Don't know if that's ideal one.. but mainly my trouble is I sit there thinking, if I add 1 cavalry, is that going to save me 2k losses, or cause me 2k more losses? Does having 1 abatis to set the range help me, or make it worse?

But I'd rather not kill several entire armies experimenting to see what adding or subtracting this 1-troop layer or that one will do.. lol.
