1. barbarian npcs regenerate their loyalty over time so if you want to conquer one of them, you have to send enough troops in waves so you are constantly attacking it, lowering their loyalty and not giving it time to regenerate its loyalty - it's not something brand new in A2, it was exactly the same in A1, so why are you complaining about it now?

2. not being able to attack someone else is obviously going to be changed soon, otherwise there wouldn't be techs and buildings related to plundering; what i hear is that they disabled the attack option during beta stage so that people could test out their new colonization function but it quickly became obvious that, coupled with this new 'historical city' concept, it was vulnerable to wide variety of abuses so they didn't active the attack option at the start of going live.
No as stated earlier I have never played A1. That at least answers my question. Beta with a disabled feature. When will we be able to attack?
